Shomar Consulting Services offers professional Language Interpreter Services (LIS). With over 10 years of experience, we provide a variety of interpreter services that best fit your organization's needs. Interpreting services may be required for a variety of purposes, such as large conference gatherings, informal meetings, legal proceedings, healthcare appointments, in-person live interactions, and telephone calls.
SCS can substantially support your participants who don't speak or understand the primary language. Providing in-person, video, or phone-based interpreters for your engagements to ensure a positive experience for your participants and a productive interaction for all.
Video Remote Interpretation (VRI)
SCS used advanced methods when accessing web-based solutions. Video service for our clients is easy to use and is an option for clients whose members aren't able to attend in person or the distance doesn't permit a face-to-face meeting. SCS’s video remote interpretation (VRI) solutions enable voice, voice/video conference, and group collaboration sessions between client representatives, qualified language interpreters, and non-English-speaking customers or stakeholders.

SCS VRI solutions can be completely device-independent. Connections are available anywhere the internet exists, on your desktop, laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Simultanious Interpretations
In simultaneous interpretation sessions, SCS supports conferences with a large number of attendees, large meetings, or events where two or more languages are required for a group with a mixed language requirement. UN-style interpretation is where interpreters are behind the scenes and listen to guest speakers through a headset. the translation is provided to members of the audience via a microphone, which is wirelessly transmitted to headsets worn by attendees/members.

This skill is not typically done by any agency, our skilled and qualified personnel have experience and training to further their knowledge continuously. We facilitate the necessary tools and hardware to deliver this service. This option is available for on-site and remote locations, as well.
Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI)
SCS has interpreters that provide over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) services, supporting your clients and organization by removing any language barrier. While many OPI companies use networks of overseas or at-home interpreters, the vast majority of calls that SCS handles are routed to our US-based call centers in Sacramento Ca. We can support you as a primary partner for your OPI overflow.

Consecutive Interpretation
Our consecutive interpretations are used in a person-to-person setting or at times with small groups where we assist in delivering important conversations between people who speak different languages. As one side speaks, during the pauses the interpreter shares the information, waits for a response, and interprets the response to the original speaker.
We provide the hardware and technology to provide consecutive interpretation remotely when in-person interactions aren't available. Our interpreting providers are experts in conveying efficiently and professionally.
